Incorporated in 1991 as an independent 501(c)(3) organization, the Society to Preserve the Millvale Murals of Maxo Vanka (SPMMMV) was founded to conserve, protect, and raise public awareness about the murals. Through this work to save and share the Murals, the organization enables Vanka’s “gift to America” to serve as a catalyst for education, community engagement, and social and cultural dialogue.
